About this place
Step through the main entrance of Hotel Juyoh in Kiyokawa, Taito Ward, and you are greeted by Sanya Cafe. Open from morning until late afternoon, it offers a calm retreat that welcomes hotel guests and neighborhood strollers alike.
The savory menu is well-stocked for a hearty meal, centered on pizzas made with homemade dough. In addition to Margherita and Genovese, guests can choose a refreshing pie topped with prosciutto and lemon, each served with a mini salad. Western-style comfort dishes such as savory hamburg steak, ginger pork, and mussel cream pasta provide plenty of satisfying choices to match any mood.
For an afternoon pause, the cafe serves handmade desserts and thoughtfully prepared drinks. The signature Sanya Pudding is a mousse-like custard with a mellow sweetness crafted from fair-trade muscovado sugar from the Philippines. Rich baked cheesecake and matcha chiffon cake round out the dessert counter, complemented by distinctive drinks like chai lattes and a homemade ginger ale simmered with muscovado sugar and spices.
With its quiet interior, the venue offers a comfortable place to unwind at your own pace from breakfast through lunch and teatime.
